Since my family and I moved to the Peninsula in 1999, I have dedicated my practice to giving the best care to my patients. After obtaining my medical degree from the Dominican Republic, I completed my internal medicine residency at the Yale Primary Care Internal Medicine and my Nephrology fellowship at the University of Virginia. In 2007, I underwent an intensive training under the direction of Dr. Gerald Beathard, who pioneered the field of Interventional Nephrology, and opened the Peninsula Vascular Center (PVC).

At this center I continue to manage the vascular access problems for the dialysis patients so they can quickly go back to their respective dialysis units and resume their life saving treatments ( dialysis). Being the only Interventional Nephrologist team in southeast Virginia for the last 12 years we have formed an incredible clinical team where we help treat our patients with the highest standard of care and the one of the best patients’ outcomes in the country.

For many years, Katya and I have been working together on the concept of offering a wide range of aesthetic services under one roof. With Katya’s extended experience in cosmetics, we opened Cayenne Beauty Bar,. Being the Medical Director, we provide the latest and safest cosmetic treatments available. Combining our professional expertise, we are able to ensure the highest quality treatments, that include using radio-frequency laser light therapy (IPL) as well as for multiple skin applications very successfully . I recently incorporated the use of the neurotoxins like Dysport, Botox and more recently Jeuveau as well the use of H.A. fillers to complement our practice.
